A Frequency-domain Solution to the Sampled-data H Smoothing Problem

چکیده
This paper studies the sampled-data H smoothing problem. Using the compact representation of the lifted transfer functions introduced in the companion paper [12], a frequency-domain approach is used to solve the problem in the lifted domain. The resulting estimators have the structure of the cascade of a linear discrete time-invariant smoother and a generalized hold D/A converter.

An Adaptive Physics-Based Method for the Solution of One-Dimensional Wave Motion Problems
In this paper, an adaptive physics-based method is developed for solving wave motion problems in one dimension (i.e., wave propagation in strings, rods and beams). The solution of the problem includes two main parts. In the first part, after discretization of the domain, a physics-based method is developed considering the conservation of mass and the balance of momentum. In the second part, ada...
متن کاملA Smoothing Technique for the Minimum Norm Solution of Absolute Value Equation
One of the issues that has been considered by the researchers in terms of theory and practice is the problem of finding minimum norm solution. In fact, in general, absolute value equation may have infinitely many solutions. In such cases, the best and most natural choice is the solution with the minimum norm. In this paper, the minimum norm-1 solution of absolute value equation is investigated. ...
متن کاملAchievable H∞ performance in sampled-data smoothing: beyond the ||D̆1||-barrier
The lifting technique is a powerful tool for handling the periodically time-varying nature of sampled-data systems. Yet all known solutions of sampled-data H problems are limited to the case when the feedthrough part of the lifted system, D̆1 : L 2[0, h] 7→ L2[0, h], satisfies ‖D̆1‖ < γ, where γ is the required H performance level. While this condition is always necessary in feedback control, it ...

A solution of the discrete H ∞ smoothing problem is presented that lends itself well for generalization to sampled-data problems. متن کاملPrediction of dispersed mineralization zone in depth using frequency domain of surface geochemical data
Discrimination of the blind and dispersed mineralization deposits is a challenging problem in geochemical exploration. The frequency domain (FD) of the surface geochemical data can solve this important issue. This new exploratory information can be achieved using the interpretation of FD of geochemical data, which is impossible in spatial domain. In this research work, FD of the surface geochem...
